The Courtyard offers a beautiful open-air setting where floral design can enhance the ceremony without overwhelming the surroundings.
For Courtyard ceremonies, we especially love freestanding floral arrangements, grounded floral pieces, floral accents around the ceremony focal point, and thoughtfully placed aisle flowers.
Depending on the couple's vision, the flowers may feel soft and understated or create a more substantial statement around the ceremony space.
Concentrating the floral investment around the couple can often create greater visual impact than decorating every row of seating.
Designer Note: When planning Courtyard ceremony flowers, we consider how the design will look both in close photography and from the back of the guest seating area. Scale becomes especially important in an outdoor setting.

For couples choosing an indoor ceremony, The Evermore's Main Hall allows the floral design to play a larger role in defining the ceremony setting.
Because the space later becomes part of the celebration, we especially like designing indoor ceremony flowers with the transition into the reception in mind.
Freestanding floral arrangements can create a focal point around the couple without requiring a permanent installation. Grounded florals, aisle arrangements, candles, and statement ceremony pieces can also help visually transform the room for the ceremony.
Indoor ceremonies also provide an opportunity to use richer color palettes or more architectural floral designs without competing with an outdoor setting.
Designer Note: For ceremonies inside the Main Hall, we consider what guests will see when they first enter the room as well as how the ceremony backdrop will appear in photography. Creating one strong focal point can completely change the feeling of the space.

Reception flowers at The Evermore can be designed to complement the scale and character of the Main Hall while keeping the overall room feeling open and inviting.
Elevated centerpieces are especially beautiful for creating height and visual movement throughout the reception. In this blue and white design, hydrangea, delphinium, calla lilies, tulips, and garden style blooms rise above the table in a clear glass vessel, allowing guests to maintain comfortable sightlines while still creating a substantial floral moment.

The Main Hall's large chandeliers create an opportunity to incorporate greenery, trailing flowers, and suspended floral accents that draw the eye upward and add another layer of design to the reception space.
A floral chandelier can connect the ceremony and reception palettes while creating a focal point that guests experience from nearly every part of the room. Because these designs interact directly with the venue's architecture, we consider scale, movement, color, and how the installation will be viewed from both across the room and directly beneath it.
Statement floral moments do not need to compete with the venue. The goal is to enhance what is already there and create something that feels intentionally designed for the space.

Candlelight and Styling at The Evermore
Flowers are only one part of creating a cohesive reception atmosphere.
Candlelight can soften the Main Hall and add warmth, dimension, and movement to the tables. For this long table design, lush greenery and rich floral accents were paired with varying heights of glass enclosed candles, creating an intimate tablescape against the natural wood tones of The Evermore.
We consider candles, vessels, linens, place settings, and floral placement together so the table feels layered rather than overly decorated.

How far in advance should we begin planning flowers for a wedding at The Evermore?
Once your wedding date and venue are secured, it is a good time to begin talking with your floral designer.
You do not need to know every flower or centerpiece you want before reaching out. In fact, part of our process is helping you determine what makes sense for your ceremony location, reception layout, color palette, priorities, and overall wedding aesthetic.
Popular spring and fall dates can book well in advance, so beginning the conversation earlier also gives you greater flexibility when choosing your floral design team.
How should we prioritize our floral budget for an Evermore wedding?
We usually begin by identifying the moments that matter most to you rather than trying to place flowers everywhere.
For some couples, the ceremony is the priority and a statement floral focal point receives the largest portion of the floral investment. Others care most about the reception experience and choose to emphasize centerpieces, candlelight, or a statement installation inside the Main Hall.
We also look for opportunities to design ceremony flowers that can transition into the reception when it makes sense.
A thoughtful floral plan is less about the number of arrangements and more about placing flowers where they will have the greatest visual and emotional impact throughout the day.
What happens to the floral plan if our Evermore ceremony has to move indoors because of weather?
When an outdoor ceremony is part of the plan, we like to consider the indoor backup location during the design process.
Whenever possible, we select floral pieces and mechanics that can work beautifully in either setting. Freestanding arrangements are especially useful because they can often be repositioned more easily than flowers that are permanently attached to a structure.
The scale and placement may change if the ceremony moves into the Main Hall, but planning for that possibility ahead of time helps the flowers remain cohesive instead of feeling like they were simply transferred indoors at the last minute.
Can our ceremony flowers be repurposed for the reception at The Evermore?
Often, yes, and The Evermore offers several good opportunities for thoughtful repurposing.
Freestanding ceremony arrangements may be moved to the sweetheart table, reception entrance, or another focal area. Certain aisle arrangements can sometimes transition to guest tables or other reception spaces.
The key is planning for repurposing from the beginning. The mechanics, size, vessel, placement, timing, and second location all affect whether an arrangement can be moved safely and still look intentional once it reaches the reception.
Our goal is never simply to move flowers because we can. The second placement should look as though the arrangement was designed for that location.
Where do flowers make the biggest visual impact at The Evermore?
For most weddings, we recommend prioritizing the areas guests will see and photograph most often.
That usually includes the ceremony focal point, the sweetheart table, select reception centerpieces, and one or two statement moments within the Main Hall.
The Evermore already has strong architectural features, so covering every surface with flowers is not always necessary. A few well scaled designs can often create more impact than spreading the floral budget across many smaller pieces.
During the design process, we help determine where flowers will make the greatest difference based on your floor plan, ceremony location, guest count, photography priorities, and overall floral investment.
Can the chandeliers inside The Evermore be incorporated into the floral design?
They can create a beautiful opportunity for a statement floral moment when the event design and venue logistics allow.
Greenery, trailing flowers, and floral accents can draw the eye upward and help connect the tables below with the architecture of the Main Hall.
Because chandelier flowers are an installation rather than a standard centerpiece, we consider scale, mechanics, access, installation time, and how the flowers will be viewed from around the entire room.
These designs are most effective when they enhance the chandelier rather than completely hiding it.
Can The Evermore’s décor collection be incorporated into our wedding design?
Yes. We are familiar with The Evermore’s décor inventory and can coordinate with you and your planner to thoughtfully incorporate available venue pieces into the overall floral and design plan.
Using existing décor can help create a more cohesive look while also allowing us to consider how florals, candles, vessels, and other design elements will work together throughout the space.
Please note that your wedding coordinator will be responsible for the placement and retrieval of décor items belonging to The Evermore. Blossom Artistry will coordinate the floral design around those selected pieces so everything feels intentional and visually connected.
