Blossoming Love Stories: Allison & Zach

Editor's note: “Blossoming Love Stories” is our series dedicated to highlighting different couples that we have worked with and their special day.

Some love stories are written long before the first date—and for Allison and Zach, that story began in their hometown of Burlington, North Carolina. Though they shared the same middle and high schools, their paths rarely crossed. Zach, a year ahead, tried to catch Allison’s attention during their school days, but it wasn’t until years later—during a spontaneous girls’ night out—that their connection fortuitously sparked.

That chance encounter, a nudge from a friend, and a photo together turned into weeks of texting, a baseball game invitation, and eventually, a proposal. On September 7th, 2024, the couple wed and their day—and ‘wedding flowers near Cary’—were nothing short of magical.

Why Blossom Artistry?

The Walkers chose Blossom Artistry after falling in love with the beauty and quality of their floral designs. Living nearby, the two were also excited to support a smaller, semi-local business for their ‘wedding ceremony flowers’. However, they knew it was the right choice when during their consultation, they immediately felt heard and supported.

The team worked closely with Allison and Zach throughout the entire planning process—seamlessly adapting to last-minute changes and ensuring that their dream wedding was brought to life with care and creativity. “They were more than willing to do whatever we wanted to ensure our day was exactly as we envisioned!” the couple recalled.

An Elegant, Rustic Wedding Vision

Allison and Zach’s wedding theme was a balance of timeless elegance and rustic charm. The couple were drawn to classic white florals complemented by soft greenery—florals that would enhance their ceremony space rather than compete with it.

Their venue, Daniel’s Ridge, located in Lee County, NC, featured magnificent cathedral-style windows in an open-air chapel. This backdrop became the focal point for their ‘wedding ceremony flowers’. Blossom Artistry created a breathtaking installation of trailing greenery that climbed the tall windows, amplifying the natural beauty of the space and creating a serene, romantic atmosphere.

Beauty Throughout the Day

One of the most meaningful floral elements was the floral arrangement on the wooden cross at the altar. Representing their Christ-centered relationship, this piece held deep symbolic value. The elegant white blooms gave it reverence and softness, making it a standout moment for the ceremony.

Blossom Artistry’s thoughtful design also extended beyond the ceremony. “We loved how they reused the florals for our sweetheart table, making it over the top in the best way,” Allison emphasized.

A Lasting Impression

Looking back on their wedding day, Allison and Zach both agree: the ‘wedding flowers near Cary’ “were easily the most beautiful part of our day.” The venue was already stunning, but the addition of the floral designs elevated the entire atmosphere. Guests were wowed, the photos were breathtaking, and most importantly, the couple’s vision was brought to life down to the smallest detail.

“We always find ourselves looking back at photos just to admire how truly beautiful it was!” Allison shared. “... our breath was truly taken away. They took simple white florals and made them eye-catching.”
